CIBC may randomly present surveys to visitors of our websites. The survey data is collected anonymously and is used to help improve our services. We do not use the survey data for marketing purposes. You are not required to complete online surveys.

Online offers

CIBC may present product and service offers to you when visiting our websites. You can choose to accept these offers, decline them, or view them at a later time. You are not required to accept online offers.

Planning tools and calculators

CIBC websites include planning and selection tools and calculators. Tools offered as part of CIBC Online Banking may save your data for your future use so that you don't have to enter it each time you use the tool; however, CIBC won't use this data. Tools offered before you sign on to Online Banking do not save data.

Online advertising

CIBC sometimes places online ads on websites that are not affiliated with CIBC. If you click on one of these ads, CIBC may track the response rate and the website activity associated with each ad. The response rate data is collected anonymously, and is used to help us plan future online advertising campaigns.
