A note about U.S. Dollar payments A U.S. dollar or other foreign currency payment is converted at CIBC’s branch selling rate for Canadian dollars (or for non-U.S. dollar payments on CIBC U.S. Dollar Visa Card, at CIBC’s branch selling rate for U.S. dollars) in effect at the time it is processed by CIBC.
If you have questions about a new or existing mortgage, call a CIBC Mortgage Representative.
When you submit a complaint, make sure you include the following details:
Your address or email address where you prefer to be reached
Your fax number, including area code
The nature of your complaint
Details about your complaint and who you already discussed the issue with
Contact CIBC Client Care directly if you're uncomfortable discussing the issue with our employees or the manager of the banking centre where the problem happened, or if they haven't addressed the problem to your satisfaction.
If your problem hasn't been addressed by the relevant CIBC business or CIBC Client Care, contact the CIBC Ombudsman, who will acknowledge your complaint right away. Then, if legal action hasn't been taken, the Ombudsman will immediately get to work.
