You’ll get an alert the first time your cash back balance reaches your set amount, and every 90 days from then on if your cash back balance is equal to or above the chosen amount.ⓘ

A push notification from the CIBC mobile app,
A text message from 242-226; or
An email from mailbox.noreply@cibc.com

It may take up to 2 business days for the alert to be sent after the set amount is reached.
The alert will include your first name, cash back balance, as of date, the last four digits of your card, and a link to redeem your cash back.

No, the Dividend cash back balance alert isn’t mandatory. It’s an optional service that you can choose to set up based on your needs and preferences.
