Minimum credit limits for CIBC credit cards
Each of our credit cards has a minimum credit limit. When you're approved for a CIBC credit card, the minimum credit limit you receive will depend on the card.
How is my credit limit determined?
You could be approved for a higher credit limit than the minimum, depending on different factors like your credit score, income, debt, length of credit history, rate of application for other forms of credit and more.

Where can I find my credit limit?
You can find your credit limit on CIBC Online Banking® or CIBC Mobile Banking® on your credit card details page.
Your credit limit is also mentioned on page 1 of your credit card statement (physical statement and eStatement).
How to review your credit card statement:
- Sign on to CIBC Online Banking or CIBC Mobile Banking
- Go to your Credit Card Account Details page
- Select "View eStatements"
