Using your Adapta points
There are three different ways to redeem your Adapta points.
Credit card paymentⓘ: You can use your points to pay down your Adapta Mastercard balance. It’s a great way to reduce what you owe and manage your finances.ⓘ
Paying for eligible recent purchasesⓘ: Made a recent purchase of at least $10? Use your points to pay off eligible transactions you just made. Whether it's a splurge item at the grocery store, or a special trip to the drive-thru; use your Adapta points to pay it off before your statement arrives. You can also sign up for alerts to get notified in real-time when you have enough points to pay for your purchase.
CIBC financial productsⓘ: You can use your points toward your other CIBC financial products including investment accounts such as an RRSPs or TFSAs, a line of credit, Investor’s Edge account or even your mortgage.
How much are Adapta points worth?
The value of your Adapta points depends on the redemption option you choose:
1,500 Adapta points equals $10 toward your credit card balance or a recent purchase
1,200 Adapta points equals $10 toward your CIBC TFSA, RRSP, Investor's Edge account, line of credit or mortgages.
With the CIBC Adapta Mastercard, redeeming points is flexible and rewarding. Make the most of your spending and enjoy the benefits.
