If an application for a new CIBC Aventura® Visa* Card for Business is submitted and approved, the primary cardholder can receive:

3 Full-service refers to transactions performed in a CIBC Banking Centre, through a CIBC Telephone Banking representative, through a CIBC Business Contact Centre representative, or through the regular Wallet Depository Service.

5 “Minimum balance” condition is met when the required minimum daily balance is maintained in your Business Operating Account at the end of each calendar day in the billing month. If you maintained the minimum daily balance, your statement will reflect the monthly account fee as a charge and a rebate.

Debits include, without limitation, withdrawals, cheques, pre-authorized payments, bill payments, Interac Direct Payments, Interac e-Transfer payments, direct deposits and transfers to other accounts. If you perform fewer than the allowed number of transactions in a month, the unused transactions cannot be carried forward to subsequent months.

Only a primary signing authority of a CIBC business account can use Interac e-Transfer. Interac e-Transfer isn’t available to clients who were issued Convenience Cards prior to 2003. Standard Interac e-Transfer fees apply for transactions that exceed any quantities included in your account package.

Aventura Points will be cancelled if they remain unredeemed for 60 days after you voluntarily close your Aventura credit card account or within 12 months of the primary cardholder’s death.
10 The current annual interest rate for purchases is set at either RDS%rate.VSASB.rate(null,null,7,null)(#O2#)%, 15.99% or 18.99% and the current annual interest rate for cash advances, balance transfers and CIBC Convenience Cheques is set at either 14.5%, 17.5% or 21.5%, all based on your personal credit bureau and other information at the time your application is processed. Interest rates will change from time to time on at least 30 days prior notice to the primary cardholder.

13 CIBC foreign exchange rates apply. A CIBC Global Money Transfer and a Foreign Exchange transaction counts towards your allowable transaction limit; bank account transaction fees may apply. 14 CIBC Rewards Program clients may "transfer," which means move, the Aventura Points earned from eligible Aventura credit card accounts, where they are the primary cardholder or Rewards Officer. Authorized Users and Delegates cannot perform points transfer transactions, but will be able to view any points transfer activity on the Primary’s account in their account history. Points entered must be positive and within the minimum of 1 and the maximum of total points available in the account, at the time of performing points transfers. The Credit Card Accounts that you wish to transfer points between must be in good standing.
