Yvonne Dimitroff leads the global People, Culture, and Talent team for CIBC. She is responsible for fostering a high-performance, best-in-class culture and further elevating the bank’s focus on human capital. Yvonne enables CIBC to attract, develop, and retain top talent for sustained growth and a competitive advantage, and her areas of accountability include HR Shared Services, Global HR Advisory, Total Rewards and Recognition, Talent, Leadership and Inclusion, Business Effectiveness, Workforce Transformation, Human Capital Strategy and Culture.
Since joining CIBC in 2014, Yvonne has held key leadership roles across Canada, the U.S. and global operations. Most recently, as Senior Vice-President and Chief Human Resources Officer, U.S. Region, she led the design and execution of human capital strategies that accelerated business growth and operational excellence. Her previous experience includes leading HR for several of CIBC’s key strategic business units, including Canadian Personal and Business Banking, Commercial Banking & Wealth Management and Capital Markets.
Prior to joining CIBC, Yvonne held senior HR leadership positions at TD Bank, where she contributed to both domestic and international human resources strategies.
Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brock University.
