Kevin Li leads CIBC’s U.S. region, which spans commercial banking, wealth management, private and digital banking, as well as oversight over CIBC’s U.S. Capital Markets activities. He leads our U.S. team that is building on the momentum we have established across our strong and diversified North American platform.
With more than 30 years of experience across the U.S., Canada, and international markets, Kevin has held senior leadership roles in banking and capital markets. He brings a broad perspective, strong client focus and disciplined approach as his team leverages CIBC’s highly connected platform to meet client needs and build trusted, lasting relationships.
Kevin and his family reside in Chicago, Illinois, and are actively engaged in civic and community organizations dedicated to expanding access to the arts, addressing food insecurity and creating adaptive sports opportunities for children living with disabilities. They are long-standing supporters of the Art Institute of Chicago, Monday Meals and the American Youth Soccer Organization’s VIP Program. Kevin is also a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
Kevin is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a specialization in Finance.
