The Graduate Leadership Development Program is a full-time, 2-year development program that positions MBA and master’s graduates to become future leaders at CIBC. 

Program details

• The program offers four, 6-month rotations, which provide associates with opportunities to explore the breadth of revenue-generating, functional and strategic units in the bank
• Associates gain experience with a wide range of financial or business issues including reviews of competitive markets, improvements to operating performance, workforce transformations and insights to special projects
• GLDP Associates can get involved in meaningful work outside their rotations like inclusion and diversity initiatives, program committees, enterprise events, recruitment and more
• The GLDP sets associates up for success with comprehensive orientations and training, individual and group learning courses, exclusive events with senior leaders, and an executive and GLDP alumni mentor

Eligibility criteria

• You either graduated from an MBA or master’s program within the last 2 years or you’re an upcoming graduate
• All disciplines and specializations are welcome
• 3 or more years of work experience

Technology Leadership Advancement Program (TLAP)

TLAP program is a full-time 2-year technology leadership development program that positions Master’s and MBA graduates to become future technology leaders at CIBC.

Program details

• The program offers three 8-month rotations, which provide associates with opportunities to explore strategic and impactful technology groups across the bank, with the option to do one rotation in a business team
• Associates can explore the full range of technology domains at CIBC. Example domains include Payments Technology, Cards Technology, Wealth Management Technology, Capital Markets Technology, Personal Banking Technology, etc
• TLAP Associates can get involved in meaningful work outside their rotations like inclusion and diversity initiatives, program committees, enterprise events, recruitment and more
• TLAP sets associates up for success with comprehensive orientations and training, individual and group learning courses, exclusive events with senior leaders, and an executive and TLAP alumni mentor

Eligibility criteria

• You either graduated from a Master’s program or MBA within the last 2 years or you’re an upcoming graduate
• Any technology discipline and specialization is welcome
• 3 or more years of technical work experience is mandatory
