Technology Graduate Rotational Program (TGRP)

The Technology Graduate Rotational Program is a full-time, fast-paced 2-year rotation program within technology. The program is dedicated to launching the careers of previous CIBC co-op students.

Program details

• TGRP offers three 8-month rotations driven by associates’ passions, career interests and business demand within our technology teams
• TGRP equips associates with the tools needed to launch their careers through numerous networking and professional development opportunities
• TGRP Associates foster the program’s strong sense of community by leading and participating in initiatives dedicated to learning and development, mentorship, and more
• Upon completion, associates are well positioned to take on progressive roles within technology at CIBC to advance their career

Eligibility criteria

• Completed a minimum of one 4-month co-op or internship at CIBC
• Graduated within the last year or will graduate within the next 12 months

Required skills

• Candidates will need to demonstrate technical proficiency aligned with roles in Application Development, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business System Analyst, Engineering, or similar areas

Private Wealth Rotational Program (PWRP)

As a Private Wealth Rotational Associate, you’ll gain valuable experience and exposure to CIBC’s wealth management business. The rotations will help you learn valuable client facing skills while making meaningful contributions to CIBC.

The PWRP is a full-time 12-month rotational program that provides associates the opportunity to gain exposure and experience in private wealth to become future advisors providing our clients with wealth solutions.

Program details

• You’ll complete three rotations over the course of 12 months, providing you with exposure to Private Banking (3 months), Head Office (3 months) and Wood Gundy (6 months).
• Associates will explore the many areas of CIBC Private Wealth including cash management, credit and lending, investments, wealth planning, and estate planning insurance.
• You’ll complete the required professional accreditation, which will support your rotation and future career within Private Wealth.
• PWRP Associates are set up for success with a comprehensive rotational experience gaining hands-on experience, on the job learning and rotational assignments across key areas of Private Wealth. Associates are provided with mentorship, exposure to senior leaders and advisors, professional accreditation, networking, educational workshops, and career development sessions.

Eligibility criteria

• Associates are recent (within 2 years) undergraduates or MBA (within 2 years) in business, economics, or finance programs
• Associates will have a passion for building meaningful client relationships, interest in financial planning and advice, investments, business development and portfolio management
