Experience
Mr. Culham has been President and Chief Executive Officer of CIBC since November 2025. Over the course of his career, he has held senior banking roles in Europe and Asia, and first joined CIBC as an intern in Vancouver, participating in one of the bank's first graduate programs. Since rejoining CIBC in 2008, Mr. Culham has led several businesses and head office groups, including CIBC's global Capital Markets business, CIBC Caribbean, CIBC Mellon, and the Strategic Client Office. He has also overseen the bank's Enterprise Strategy and Corporate Development function and Global Asset Management. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Culham served as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for CIBC's four Strategic Business Units. Mr. Culham is Past Co-Chair of the CIBC Foundation and is a member of the Board of Sinai Health.
Education
Mr. Culham holds a degree from the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business and is a Leslie Wong Fellow.
