CIBC recognizes that you are on-the-go and need a safe banking experience that works on every device you use. With CIBC's upcoming security enhancements, you will be able to bank on your mobile, tablet or desktop computer and receive the same security on each platform.

Instead of using the Trusteer Rapport software for security, CIBC will use a one-time verification code to verify your identity when you make a sensitive transaction. The one-time verification code will be sent to you either by email, text message or telephone.

Learn more about the security enhancements.

If you use the Rapport software in connection with other financial institutions, we encourage you to leave it installed on your device. If you only use it for CIBC, you may uninstall the software in May. If you leave the Rapport software installed on your device, you will notice that you no longer see the green Trusteer icon when visiting a CIBC site and malware/phishing protection that is specific to the Trusteer Rapport software will no longer be available to you.
