To help protect your information, make sure to select a password that’s hard to guess, set a password on your phone, and regularly review your bank statements.

The latest version of the CIBC mobile app is supported on iPhone^®, iPad^®, Apple Watch^®, and Android™ devices. Please update to the latest version of your device’s operating system to ensure you can access all feature of the CIBC app.

To use Interac e-Transfer on the app:

1. Sign on to the app.
2. Select “Interac e-Transfer” from the menu.
3. Select “Send Money” or “Request Money.”

To use Global Money Transfer on the app:

1. Sign on to the app.
   
2. Select “Global Money Transfer” from the menu.
3. Enter recipient’s information.
4. Choose the amount you want to send and select “Submit.”

To deposit a cheque using eDeposit on the app:

1. Sign the back of the cheque and print “For deposit only to” followed by your account number.
   
2. Sign on to the app.
3. Take photos of the front and back of your cheque using your phone’s camera.
4. Confirm your deposit details.
5. Select “Deposit.”

To check your recent credit card transactions on the app:

1. Sign on to the app.
2. Go to “My Accounts,” then select your credit card.
3. Select the “Transactions” tab to review your recent banking activity.

To cancel a bill payment¹ on the app:

1. Sign on to the app.
2. From the left navigation menu, select “Upcoming Transactions,” then select “Bills and Transfers.”
3. Select the upcoming payment that you want to remove, then select “Delete.”
4. Review the bill payment details, then select “Delete Payment.”

To complete a sensitive transaction, you will be prompted to enter a one-time verification code:

1. Choose to receive your one-time verification code by text or phone call.
2. Get a 6-digit one-time verification code instantly.
3. Enter the code to complete your transaction.

Sensitive transactions could include updating your contact information, sending a large bill payment or adding a new Interac e-Transfer recipient.
