Access to CIBC Banking Centres
Every banking centre is a part of our commitment to accessibility. We build new banking centres to be fully accessible from day one, including parking facilities, in-branch ATMs, vestibule access and counter height.
Since 2006, we’ve committed nearly $1 million per year to enhance accessibility of existing banking centres. Projects include installing door operators and ramps, washroom upgrades and site improvements to address parking and other issues.
CIBC has ATMs that meet our “access for all” requirements at almost every banking centre and at a growing number of non-branch locations.
“Access for all” ATMs let you use your own headphones to hear private voice instructions for your transaction.
You can also choose to blank out the screen while using the ATM, so no one can see your information.
Service animals and support persons
We’re happy to accommodate a support person or service animal when you visit our premises and access our services.
Use any personal assistive device you need while accessing our services or facilities.
