We are communicating about the contest on CIBC.com, in our banking centres, contact centres and through online banking.

Yes. All data for the contest is as of May 15, 2026. Those who become clients after this date are excluded from eligibility. 

The Contest is open only to individuals and businesses who:

• Have at least one CIBC product in active status before and as of May 15, 2026
• Are legal residents of Canada
• Have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence as of May 15, 2026

The following are not eligible:

•  CIBC employees and their family members (parents, siblings, children and spouses, regardless of where they live)
• CIBC Commercial Banking clients
• CIBC Private Banking, Wood Gundy and CIBC Private Investment Counsel clients
• CIBC Bank USA clients (including CIBC US Private Wealth)
• Those who are deceased
• Those whose marketing preferences are set to “Do Not Solicit” for all channels
• Those who have no products with CIBC

There are 25 total prizes available to be won. Each prize will consist of either: 125,000 Aventura^® Points for eligible Aventura^® cardholders or $2,000 CA for other eligible CIBC clients to be awarded in the form of a deposit into an eligible CIBC chequing or business operating account or mailed cheque.

Aventura^® Points will be directly delivered to the primary CIBC Aventura^® credit card within 45 days of completing the prize claim conditions.

Cash deposits will be made directly to the eligible CIBC chequing or business operating account, or cheque (if applicable), and will be sent via courier within 45 days of completing the prize claim conditions.

If the winner is not the primary cardholder of an eligible Aventura^® card, the prize will be awarded in the form of a $2,000 CA cash deposit to a CIBC chequing or business operating account.

Furthermore, if the winner does not have a chequing or business operating account, a cheque will be mailed in the value of $2,000 CA.

Prize cannot be substituted or transferred, except at CIBC’s sole discretion.

To ensure that the prize is for the benefit of the business client, if a business is drawn as a winner, the business operating account will be credited the $2,000 CA prize or a cheque will be mailed in the case there is no eligible business operating account.

Potential winners will be contacted over telephone or by email by our trusted contest administrator called The Marco Corporation at the telephone number or email address associated with the individual or business (primary contact) CIBC account.

To be a winner, selected entrants must respond to notification of selection, correctly answer the skill-testing question, and sign a written declaration and release form.

Note: Full account number or home address will not be asked as part of the notification. Potential winners should contact their local CIBC Banking Centre, in case of any question.
