Julia Moynihan, CFA

About

Julia Moynihan is Managing Director, Business Development & Connectivity at CIBC Global Asset Management (CIBC GAM). She is focused on building bridges between CIBC GAM, our external partners, and teams from across the whole of CIBC to promote cross-regional and cross-border synergies and sales.

Julia has more than 30 years of experience at CIBC. She was previously Managing Director and Head of Money Market in CIBC’s Global Markets division, responsible for all trading activities across Government, Corporate and Securitized Money Market products. An active volunteer in her community, Julia has been a Trustee and Board member of the United Way of Greater Toronto since 2024, and a member of its Finance, Audit and Risk Board Committee since 2022. Here at CIBC, she was recognized for her contribution and commitment to gender diversity with the Women in Capital Market’s Champion of Change Award in 2017.

Julia received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from McGill University. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Toronto.
