Brad Finch is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of CIBC Global Asset Management (CIBC GAM). He is responsible for advancing CIBC’s growth objectives as a leading global asset management firm, and ensuring operational excellence, compliance, risk management, and overall business performance across institutional, private wealth, and retail channels.

Brad is pivotal in the introduction of innovative and transformative initiatives to enhance the client experience and accelerate the adoption of new product and services. A member of the CIBC GAM executive committee, he is also committed to enhancing the spirit of collaboration and connectivity amongst CIBC GAM’s leaders, teams, and infrastructure partners to drive the execution of business unit strategies. Brad has extensive experience in capital markets and financial technology, and a proven track record of building and scaling innovative, high-growth businesses. Prior to joining CIBC GAM, he served as the Country Head of Canada for a leading NASDAQ-listed FinTech company. Brad’s career also includes more than 13 years at CIBC Capital Markets, where he held key roles within the Alternate Solutions Group and Wealth Solutions Group, focusing on product development and global distribution.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Toronto.
