David Kilburn is a Market Leader and Senior Investment Counsellor with CIBC Private Investment Counsel (CPIC), a division of CIBC Private Wealth Management. David has over 25 years of experience in wealth management.

In prior roles, he led the private wealth group at an investment firm and spent over 12 years managing client portfolios and a discretionary investment platform in Montreal. In his current role, David manages the needs of a select number of not-for-profit entities and high net worth families.

David is a CFA charterholder and CIPM certificant. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bishop’s University. David is Chair of the Board of the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chair of the Portfolio Management Association of Canada.
