Effective August 27, 2026, payout and discharge statement requests for properties in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Saskatchewan should be submitted for the following request types through FNF Canada’s PayoutConnect™ portal Opens a new window.:
- Payout and Discharge Statement
- Transfer Statement
- Payout Inquiry Statement
If you do not have portal access, please follow the instructions on the site to request access. Fax requests will not be accepted.
Launch of FCT Lender Lawyer Connect (LLC) Portal
Effective July 6, 2026, FCT Lender Lawyer Connect ("LLC") can be used to submit CIBC Mortgage and CIBC Home Power Plan (HPP) documents to CIBC. Please see below for important updates.
Solicitor’s Interim Report/Requisition NOT submitted to CIBC prior to Monday, July 6
LLC Members: CIBC will re-instruct using the LLC portal
Non-LLC Members: CIBC will re-instruct using fax
Solicitor’s Interim Report/Requisition HAS BEEN submitted to CIBC prior to Monday, July 6:
If there is no material amendment requiring new documents, no action is required. All outstanding mortgage or HPP documents should be faxed to CIBC using the new fax number (Pre-Funding 1-844-589-9539, Post-Funding 1-833-526-4228).
If a material amendment is required, CIBC will re-instruct as per the above.

Starting January 31, 2024, FNF Canada will perform all required discharge activities for Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Saskatchewan. This will remove solicitor involvement after the discharge request is submitted. Solicitors will only receive notification of the completed discharge.
