Margaret joined the CIBC Wealth leadership team in July 2022, with a primary focus on driving growth through performance, digital and social marketing strategies, and integrated marketing campaigns. She is committed to deepening client relationships by delivering relevant content, thought leadership, events and experiences, product marketing, post-sign-on experiences, and comprehensive advisor and distributed marketing support. Margaret also focuses on strengthening brand positioning and awareness, as well as enhancing digital effectiveness through SEO, SEM, and AEO strategies across Global Asset Management and Private Wealth Management.
Margaret has more than 20 years of experience in progressive marketing and strategy roles. Her previous positions include Head of Manulife Investment Management Wealth and Retirement Marketing; Head of RBC Insurance and Investments Marketing, where she led Financial Planning, Direct Investing, Robo Investing and other initiatives; and multiple leadership roles at HSBC, including Head of Brand and Sponsorships, Head of Personal and Commercial Marketing, and Head of Function Management across North America.
