As Vice President, National Office, Hugh leads Business Strategy, Training & Development, and Practice Management, while also supporting business operations to ensure day-to-day performance. Since joining CIBC in 2003, Hugh has gained extensive experience across Finance, Retail Brokerage, Business Banking, Direct Investing, Operations, and Technology. He is recognized for his strategic vision, analytical expertise, and commitment to effective delivery and issue resolution, all grounded in strong relationship management. A strong supporter of inclusivity Hugh serves as the Executive Sponsor of CIBCs Indigenous Employee Circle.
Hugh holds an MBA and a Masters Certificate in Financial Services Leadership from the Schulich School of Business.
Based in Richmond Hill where he resides with his partner Allison, Hugh enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his 2 adult children.
