David Wong, CFA®, FRM®
David leads CIBC Asset Management’s Portfolio Solutions, Manager Research and Investment Oversight efforts. His team’s functions include manager research and selection, portfolio construction, operational research, trading, and risk monitoring for over $174 billion of Assets Under Management (as of December 31, 2021).
Prior to joining CIBC Asset Management in July 2011, David spent 13 years at a global investment firm based in New York and Toronto as a Senior Research Analyst, covering a broad spectrum of fixed income strategies on behalf of institutional and retail clients.
David has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University, is a CFA Charterholder and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
