We want to then assist them achieve their short and long-term goals and provide them with the tools to continue the success of that family enterprise now and in the future.

The world is more complex than ever. Whereas 20 years ago there was not enough information, now there's too much information.

Our aim is to help them organize and understand the intricacies of wealth ownership with a dual focus on their current and future goals.

Most recently, we helped a family who had sold their business for north of $100 million in achieving multiple different goals. There was so much information out there, there were so many conflicting points of view, and they wanted us to help get through all of that noise. They wanted to ensure they had the right banking structure set up to facilitate the sale.

They also wanted to make sure they had the right credit facilities in place to pursue their goals in real estate investments.

We helped them access institutional investment solutions. We helped them on the planning side.

We had conversations with them about how could they continue to achieve their entrepreneurial spirit both now and in the next generation. We started to expand the conversation to their philanthropic goals.

They have a comfort zone that CIBC Family Office is there for them to ensure that their family enterprise is consistently and continuously being successful.
