The CIBC Mobile Banking App on the Apple Watch is a natural extension of our award-winning iPhone Mobile Banking App, giving you quick and easy access to your favourite CIBC Mobile Banking features.

There’s no need to sign on every time you use the CIBC Mobile Banking App on the Apple Watch, as you’re already seamlessly connected to your accounts through your iPhone®.

Just swipe up from the main watch face to see your balance.

[Quick Transfer]

Securely move funds between your CIBC mobile accounts, such as chequing and savings accounts, lines of credit, or credit cards.

Choose from preset transfer amounts with a tap of a button.

[The Amount screen shows a starting amount of $0, and buttons for +$1, +$5, +$25 and +$100, plus a Next Button.]

[The example shows a transfer of $131 from a Chequing account to a Line of Credit account. The Amount screen shows the selection of $100, then $25. The amount total changes to $125. $1 is then selected and the total amount changes to $126. Finally $5 is selected and total changes to $131. The Next button is selected. The “To Account” screen opens, showing the Savings and Line of Credit accounts. The Line of Credit account is selected as the “To” account. The Verify Transfer screen is shown, with the transfer amount of $131, Chequing as the “From” account, including the Chequing account balance, and Line of Credit as the “To” account, with the Line of Credit balance. The screen also has an X button for cancel and a check mark button for confirm. The check mark is selected to complete the transfer. A Confirmation screen appears, saying “Done. Confirmed. Tapping on one of the locations opens a map with a pin indicating the location, and the location described below the map. The map can be zoomed from one to two times. Scrolling down shows the address and hours of the location.] 

The CIBC Mobile Banking App for the Apple Watch is easy to set up.

Simply download the latest version of the CIBC Mobile Banking App for your iPhone.

Sign on to the CIBC Mobile Banking App. 

[The Sign On button is selected. From the sign-on screen, which shows the user’s card number , a password is entered and the Sign-On button selected. After the “Verifying” message briefly appears, the accounts screen of the CIBC Mobile Banking App opens.]

Select Apple Watch from the main menu and register your watch. 

[Selecting the main menu opens the left menu. Apple Watch is selected from the bottom of the menu. The Apple Watch Setup screen opens, with the selection, “Allow Apple Watch to access your account(s)?” The slider is moved to the right to indicate the “on” position. The terms and conditions page appears, and the Accept button is selected.]

Add CIBC accounts, 

[After accepting the terms and conditions, the Select Accounts page appears, with a list of the customer’s accounts, and a slider beside each account name. Above the accounts are the instructions “Select which accounts to display on your Apple Watch (minimum of one.)” The sliders are shown being moved to the “on” position for a Chequing, Savings, Line of Credit and CIBC Visa account.] 

And select your favourite account. This is the account you’ll see in the Glance view.

[The Next button is selected and the “Select a Favourite” screen appears, with all the accounts that were selected in the previous step. The user taps on the chequing account as the account they want to see in the Glance feature. A check mark appears beside the Chequing account. The Next button is selected.]

[The user is returned to the sign-on page, showing the card number and a message saying “For your security, please enter your password to complete setup.” A password is shown being entered into the Password field, and the Sign On button selected. A “Verifying” message briefly appears, and a confirmation message saying “You’re done! The CIBC Mobile Banking App is now set up on your Apple Watch.” Selecting the OK button closes the app on the iPhone.] 

Now you’re ready to bank with CIBC on your Apple Watch.
