To obtain an Airline Travel Reward, you must redeem at least 80% of the total number of Aventura Points required to purchase it. If you don’t have enough Aventura Points to purchase an Airline Travel Reward in full, you may make a Top Up Purchase of Aventura Points for up to 20% of the total Aventura Points required for the flight excluding Taxes and Other Charges. For Top Up Purchases, Aventura Points may be purchased at a rate of 3 cents per Aventura Point plus applicable taxes. The Top Up Purchase will be charged to your Card and does not earn Aventura Points. Top Up Purchases cannot be refunded or reversed.
5 For the CIBC Aventura® Visa Card for Business Plus, Aventura Points will be cancelled if they remain unredeemed for 60 days after the Aventura credit card account is voluntarily closed. If the Rewards Officer dies or is removed by the Business, all Aventura Points in the Aventura Account and all Aventura Points earned after the date of death or removal will automatically be transferred to the new Rewards Officer appointed by the Business as of the date of death or removal. The old Rewards Officer and/or his or her estate shall have no vested rights in the Aventura Points and will not be entitled to any compensation in respect of the transfer.
6 Interest rates may change from time to time. "Purchase" means card purchases less returns and does not include: Cash Advances, Balance Transfers interest, fees and CIBC Convenience Cheques. “Cash” means Cash Advances, Balance Transfers and CIBC Convenience Cheques.
7 CIBC Aventura Visa Card for Business Plus has an annual fee of $120 for the first card and $50 for any additional card. Annual fees are posted to your credit card account when the application is approved and your card is issued, whether your card is activated or not, and annually thereafter.

10 “Minimum balance” condition is met when the required minimum daily balance is maintained in your Business Operating Account at the end of each calendar day in the billing month. If you maintained the minimum daily balance, your statement will reflect the monthly account fee as a charge and a rebate.
11 Transactions include any debits and credits to your account (excluding CIBC interest credits and fee debits). Debits include, without limitation, withdrawals, cheques, pre-authorized payments, bill payments, Interac Direct Payments, Interac e-Transfer payments, direct deposits and transfers to other accounts. Credits include, without limitation, deposits, pre-authorized payments, bill payments, Interac Direct Payments, Interac e-Transfer payments, and direct deposits and transfers from other accounts (except transfers from CIBC business accounts). Additional charges may apply including, without limitation, Interac e-Transfer transactions, “Items Deposited” and “Currency Supplied” fees where applicable. If you perform fewer than the allowed number of transactions in a month, the unused transactions can’t be carried forward to subsequent months.
12 Available through CIBC Online Banking. You’ll need the recipient’s email address to complete the transaction. Only a primary signing authority of a CIBC business account can use Interac e-Transfer. Interac e-Transfer isn’t available to clients who were issued Convenience Cards prior to 2003. Standard Interac e-Transfer service fees apply for transactions that are more than any quantities included in your account package.
