Community Sponsorship

CIBC is committed to investing in community initiatives that are important to our clients, employees and communities. Our goal is to make a real difference in our communities through corporate donations and sponsorships, and by supporting the passionate volunteer efforts of our employees.

With a focus on Cures, Culture and Sport, we invest in sponsorship programs that connect and engage Canadians in meaningful experiences and celebrations, while enriching and strengthening our communities from coast to coast to coast.

At CIBC, we care about bringing hope and support to those affected by cancer, and together finding a cure. That’s why we’re proud to be the longtime national sponsor of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure, and to be a regional sponsor for events like the Pink Tour and the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau.

CIBC proudly celebrates Canada’s rich cultural diversity, which is reflected in our employees, the millions of clients we serve, and the communities we call home. We invest in initiatives that build community identity and engage our neighbours across Canada including CIBC Taste of Asia and TORONTO 2015 PANAMANIA, the Arts and Culture program for the TORONTO 2015 Pan and Parapan Am Games.

CIBC is proud to enrich and inspire our communities and build lasting legacies through the power of sport. That’s why we are excited to be the lead partner of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games and premier partner of the Canadian Paralympic Committee.

Through programs like CIBC Team Next, a $2 million investment in the development of Canada’s next generation of sporting heroes, CIBC’s goal is to help athletes reach their full potential on and off the field as part of the legacy of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games.

The following are just some of the initiatives CIBC supports across Canada.
