CIBC CardAssist Service provides 24 hour-a-day assistance, protection in case of loss or theft, notification and assistance with replacement cards and more...

Simply register all your credit, debit, retail, gas and calling cards with the CIBC CardAssist Service and you will only make one call if your cards are lost or stolen. The Registry will notify all issuers on your behalf and request that replacement cards be sent to you as soon as possible.

The CIBC CardAssist Service suits your needs if, you:

  • Like the convenience of having a central record of all your cards.
  • Dread the chore of calling all the issuers if your cards are lost or stolen.
  • Want to be protected from the fraudulent use of your cards.

From the time you call in to report a loss, CIBC CardAssist Service assumes responsibility for any fraudulent charges that may appear on your lost or stolen cards. (The Registry is not responsible for losses incurred because you do not keep your card PIN security codes absolutely confidential).

  • If you've ever lost your wallet, you know what a chore it can be to notify all the companies whose cards you hold.
  • It's easy to register all your credit, debit, retail, gas and calling cards with the CIBC CardAssist Service.
  • You'll only need to make one call to report any losses or thefts ... and all the individual companies will be notified on your behalf.
  • Replacement cards will be sent to you as quickly as possible.

  • You can also register your cell phones!
  • If lost, CIBC CardAssist Service will notify the service provider in order to protect you from fraudulent phone charges.
  • CIBC CardAssist Service accepts your calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Service is available in English and French. Cantonese and Mandarin are also available.

CIBC CardAssist Service offers additional features and benefits at no extra charge.

  • If you're stranded away from home, CIBC CardAssist Service will wire emergency funds and/or ensure airline tickets are waiting at the nearest airport*
  • A nation-wide toll-free Voice Mail Message Centre makes it easy to keep in touch with your family, friends or business associates in case of emergency.
  • CIBC CardAssist Service also provides Date Reminder and Change of Address services.
  • *Airline tickets will be billed to your CIBC credit card. Your credit card account must be in good standing and have sufficient credit limit.
