1 Access to Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges
Maple Leaf Lounge access is provided by Air Canada. Lounges are located in the departure area, and are for departing customers only. At reception the CIBC Club Privileges member must present a valid Air Canada Maple Leaf Club card and a same-day, confirmed ticket in any fare for a departing Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz, Air Canada Codeshare or Star Alliance airline flight to be entitled to access. Guest Privileges and access are available to paid guests only; $15 (CDN) before 11 a.m. or $25(CDN) after 11 a.m., per visit. CIBC Club Privileges Travel member and guests must each have a confirmed, same-day departing ticket on an Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz, Air Canada Codeshare or Star Alliance airline flight to be permitted access to a Maple Leaf Lounge, although they need not be flying on the same flight. Members are permitted an unlimited number of paid guests, subject to space availability. All guests must enter the lounge with a member. Guest passes can be pre-purchased at Air Canada Ticketing counters (various methods of payment) or at lounge reception (credit card only). Membership is open to all persons 18 years of age and over and is subject to all rules and guidelines set by Air Canada. Membership is personal and non-transferable. Lounges are subject to varying hours of operation and bar service and Air Canada reserves the right to add/remove locations. While lounges are not subject to formal dress, proper attire is respectfully requested. For the safety of Air Canada's younger guests, each lounge strictly adheres to local laws and regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages. Air Canada Arrivals Lounge access is provided by Air Canada. Access to Air Canada Arrivals Lounge is available upon presentation of a valid Air Canada Maple Leaf Club card and a same-day, confirmed intercontinental ticket on an arriving Air Canada flight, regardless of fare type purchased. Access to Maple Leaf Lounge and Air Canada Arrivals Lounge is not available to employees of Air Canada or its subsidiaries. Air Canada reserves the right to revise these rules and benefits at any time without notice.
2 Air Canada Executive First/Executive Class Priority Check-in Privileges
Applicable at airports where Executive First/Executive Class Priority Check-in is available and handled by Air Canada agents only. Applies to any fare, including Aeroplan Reward travel. Available when travelling on any scheduled Air Canada, or Air Canada Jazz operated flight during normal operations. Not available to employees of Air Canada or its subsidiaries.
3 7-Day Multi-Trip Annual Emergency Travel Medical Insurance Coverage
CIBC Emergency Travel Medical Insurance is underwritten by Co-operators Life Insurance Company and administered by TIC Travel Insurance Coordinators (TIC). A detailed summary of the terms, conditions, limitations, exclusions and other provisions are contained in your Certificate of Insurance, which you receive upon purchase. Please read it carefully. Those age 80 or over must be medically underwritten and coverage will be subject to a premium surcharge. Please call 1-888-737-2665 to determine the amount of the premium surcharge.
The maximum duration of an insured trip including any extensions and top-ups cannot exceed 212 days unless you obtain written approval from your Provincial Health Insurance Plan.
