Making multiple deposits at CIBC Instant Teller® machines is more convenient than ever. You can now make up to five deposits into the same account in one transaction. Simply enter the amount of each item you want to deposit (up to a total of 5 items) and the CIBC Deposit Calculator will total the deposit for you. Place all items into one deposit envelope.

It's fast, and easy. Regardless of whether you're depositing a number of similar items (up to 5 cheques), or a variety of items (cash and cheques) into the same account, place all 5 items into one deposit envelope. If you have more than 5 items to deposit, simply start a new deposit transaction and use a new deposit envelope.

The individual items will be printed on the ABM receipt along with the total deposit amount. Your statement, however, will record only the total deposit amount. If you require details of each item for reconciliation purposes, you must retain your itemized ABM receipt so you can easily reconcile to your monthly bank statement.

1. Enter your card and PIN into the machine and select 'Deposit'.

2. Select the account to which you would like to make your deposit.

3. Enter the amount to be deposited into the account. If you have more than one item to deposit to your account, select 'Add another item'. You can add up to 5 deposit items into one transaction.

4. Place up to 5 deposit items into one deposit envelope and then place envelope into the slot. Do not deposit coins.

5. Your deposit transaction is now complete.

6. If you have more items to deposit, simply click 'Yes' to continue banking. If you have finished your banking, select 'No'.
