Asset Mix Management

We manage the components of your asset mix in two stages:

  • The first is strategic and is defined in your Investment Policy Statement; at this stage, we work with you to determine what long-term allocations to the different asset classes will satisfy your return objectives, while respecting your tolerance for risk.
  • In the second stage we add a further dimension to the management of your portfolio through the use of tactical asset mix management - helping to preserve your capital by minimizing exposure to volatile asset classes in weak markets, and potentially improving your returns by increasing exposure to appreciating asset classes and markets in times of growth.

    Our dedicated asset management team seeks to add value to your portfolio by analyzing market and economic trends, and by monitoring the risk/reward relationship between asset classes.

    The range of movement for each asset class within your portfolio is tailored to reflect your circumstances, risk tolerance and goals as laid out in your Investment Policy Statement.
