Exemples de courriels frauduleux
Il y a de nombreux courriels « hameçon » présentement en circulation, ciblant les clients de CIBC en direct. La Banque CIBC tient à rassurer ses clients : les autorités ont été averties de la circulation de ces messages.
Certains sites d’« hameçonnage » cherchent à répandre des logiciels malveillants. Nous vous recommandons vivement de ne pas cliquer sur le lien contenu dans un courriel « hameçon » car, visiter ces sites pourrait exposer votre ordinateur à des risques. Nous vous recommandons également de vérifier régulièrement vos comptes de dépôt et vos relevés de carte de crédit pour vous assurer que toutes les opérations y figurant sont légitimes.
Vous trouverez ci-dessous, à titre de référence, des exemples de courriels frauduleux. Si vous recevez un courriel ou un message texte frauduleux soi-disant de la Banque CIBC, n'y répondez pas. Faites-le suivre à , puis effacez-le de votre boîte de réception ou téléphone cellulaire. Si vous avez déjà répondu au message et fourni votre mot de passe de CIBC en direct, veuillez communiquer immédiatement avec les Services bancaires CIBC en direct, au 1 888 872-2422.
