Funding FAQ

Funding FAQ

May I save a partially completed online application?

Yes. You will be provided with a login ID and access code that will allow you to save and return to your application (within 90 days).

How will I know my funding application has been received?

You will receive an email message confirming receipt of your application within 30 minutes of submitting your application.

How long will it take for a request to be reviewed?

Regional requests for donations and sponsorships will take up to eight weeks. National requests and major fundraising campaign proposals may take up to 16 weeks.

Can I reapply if I have been declined for funding in the past?

Yes, if the funding request aligns to youth, education or health and meets our funding criteria.

I have a regional request; can I just go to my local branch and apply through them?

All funding requests must be submitted online.

Why was my organization declined for funding?

More than 20,000 funding requests are received annually. Due to this overwhelming volume, it is not always possible to respond favourably.

Who can I contact if I have questions about the online application process?

If you have questions during the application process, you will find a detailed List of Questions guide and a “Need Help?” link to technical support at the top of your screen.
