United Way
CIBC believes in helping to build stronger, more vibrant communities. That's why our largest corporate donation supports United Way. Each fall during our "Real Heroes" campaign, our employees and retirees demonstrate their overwhelming support for local United Way agencies through their fundraising efforts and personal donations.
The United Way
United Way provides stable funding to a network of social and health service agencies, helping to improve the lives of people everywhere. United Way agencies give a hand up, not a handout, and help people lead more successful, fulfilling lives - and that results in better communities for us all.
Donate or volunteer
Make a donation today! When you donate to United Way, your money goes back into your community, assisting people at all stages of life, from young children to seniors and everyone in between.
Volunteer your time! United Way relies on volunteers to keep its cost as low as possible. From office helpers to committee members, United Way needs your help! Some United Way agencies may also be able to assist you in finding volunteer positions with local community organizations. To find out more, visit www.unitedway.ca.
