Coast Mental Health Resource Centre, British Columbia
We contributed to the construction of the new 11,000-square-foot Coast Mental Health Resource Centre in downtown Vancouver. This facility provides temporary housing, shower and laundry facilities for the homeless, as well as offering counseling and computer training, workshops, first aid and a daily lunch program for people suffering from mental illness and other disabilities.
Alberta Children's Hospital and the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation
CIBC employees have raised over $122,568 for the Alberta Children's Hospital and the Stollery Children's Hospital. Both hospitals are committed to making a difference in the lives of children, through leading-edge research, education and quality care.
Fondation OLO (Oeuf, Lait, Orange), Quebec
CIBC is helping to ensure that young pregnant women at risk across the province receive adequate nutritional and dietary care to ensure healthy pregnancies and healthy babies, by contributing to Fondation OLO.
Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation, New Brunswick
CIBC made a donation in support of the foundation's goal to purchase Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatric Units through its Kids Care – Wee Care campaign. In addition to our corporate support, CIBC employees raise funds throughout the year to support the hospital foundation.
Ottawa Hospital Foundation, Ontario
CIBC has pledged funding over 5 years to the capital campaign of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation to construct the new Ottawa Hospital. These funds will be used to purchase diagnostic and critical care equipment, expand and renovate infrastructure, and provide for advancement in research.
