Career Edge

University and college graduates can have a hard time finding work while competing with people who have extensive work experience. To address this challenge, CIBC is proud to partner with Career Edge as a host organization.

Career Edge is a not-for-profit organization providing paid internship programs that help improve youth employment opportunities at participating Canadian businesses. Since 1997, CIBC has hosted over 180 internships with many participants securing full-time employment with CIBC. In fact, 70% of CIBC-hosted Career Edge interns who ended their participation in the program early did so because they secured a permanent position with us.

You are eligible to apply for a Career Edge internship if you:

Are a high school, college or university graduate
Have less than 3 years of experience in your field
Are eligible to work in Canada
Have not previously accepted a Career Edge internship

Career Edge also provides special internship opportunities for people with disabilities through the Ability Edge program and for recent immigrants through the Career Bridge program.
