The Finance group provides financial services to CIBC's businesses through effective governance and decision support processes. These services include:
- treasury
- financial management and regulatory reporting
- maintenance of accounting records and internal controls
- financial analysis and planning
- tax planning and compliance
- global sourcing and payment processing
- regular reviews of business line performance
- corporate real estate
- liaison with CIBC's investors
In addition, Finance provides financial advice regarding CIBC's business opportunities and transactions.

Global Sourcing & Payment Processing
Global Sourcing & Payment Processing provides value to the bank through the review, consolidation, negotiation and management of vendor relationships. The group also has responsibility for the bank's online procurement system and expense management reporting.
We look for candidates with a strong strategic sourcing background in a specific category, and policy and process development and management.

- Vendor Manager/Sourcing Specialists
- Business Analysts
Corporate Real Estate
Corporate Real Estate has overall responsibility for CIBC's real estate strategy, portfolio, projects and transactions.
The group also manages relationships with external suppliers and internal business partners, and collaborates with internal governance groups, regulatory bodies and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective executive oversight, metrics and reporting are applied to all real estate initiatives and activities.
