Total Rewards
Benefits and compensation
The CIBC compensation philosophy aims to provide performance-based, internally equitable, and market competitive total compensation to employees. This program provides a framework to reward employees at all levels of the organization.
A Financial Advisor's (Financial Services Specialist's in Quebec) total compensation includes a base salary, quarterly incentives and an annual discretionary bonus relative to individual and business results. Top-performing Financial Advisors may also be eligible for equity rewards in the form of CIBC Shares.
All other positions within CIBC Imperial Service are paid a base salary and year-end discretionary bonus, based on individual performance and business results.
