Now You Can View Images of Your Cleared Cheques Online

Instantly view your cleared cheques* online in 3 easy steps:

Sign on to CIBC Online Banking
Go to your Account Details page
Find the cheque number you're looking for and select the link

You'll be able to view the front and back of your cheque and will have the option to save and/or print it as a PDF. Accessing your cheque images online makes it easier and more convenient for you to reconcile your accounts or save cheque images for future reference. You may use your cheque image as proof of payment.

*Available on cheque transactions posted on or after August 10, 2007 to a CIBC Canadian dollar personal account (which may include items drawn on the account which are returned for any reason)

If you have chosen the environmentally-friendly paperless record keeping option for your personal banking account, there is no charge to view your cheques online; otherwise, a fee of $1.50 per viewed cheque will apply. You can view a cheque image as many times as you like during the same Online Banking session, at no additional charge. (The fee for retrieving a cleared cheque through the branch or Telephone Banking is still $5.00).
