Here's how it works

Gather the following personal information

CIBC Chequing Account number
Previous chequing account number
Bill stubs for your current pre-authorized payments

Then print your CIBC Switch Kit and follow these simple steps:

Step 1:

Fill in your Checklist (50 KB)

Ensure your account has sufficient funds to cover all remaining payments

Step 2:

Complete and send an Account Switch Form (70 KB) to each of your current billers

Use this form to also switch your pay deposits with your employer
