Joined CIBC Asset Management in July 2002. Stephen is a member of the Global Equity Group, operating from within the firm's Investment Management Platform. He is responsible for the management of various U.S. equity portfolios.

Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manchester (Manchester, U.K.). He also holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Portfolio Manager, Canadian Equities at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (Toronto) in 2001 (acquired by CIBC in 2001); Various positions at Schroder Investment Management (Toronto & London, U.K.) between 1994 and 2001 including Vice-President, Portfolio Manager, Canadian and U.S. equities and Research Executive; Accountant from 1991 to 1994 at Arthur Andersen & Co. (London, U.K.).
