Our specialized Indigenous Markets Team is dedicated to serving the needs of Indigenous Nations, trusts and businesses. The team, many of whom are Indigenous, brings decades of financial expertise to serving Indigenous clients. Jaimie is the Senior Vice-President of CIBC’s Indigenous Markets team. With twelve years of experience servicing Indigenous clients in the legal market, Jaimie joined CIBC in 2020. She leads our Indigenous Trust Services and Indigenous Lending teams, and advises on retail banking for Indigenous clients. Jaimie brings both personal and professional knowledge to our mission to provide accessible and innovative banking solutions for our Indigenous clients. She also works closely with our Diversity and Inclusion team at CIBC to ensure positive banking experiences for all of our clients. Jaimie is Onondaga and a member of the Six Nations of the Grand River.

Meghan is Executive Director, Indigenous Markets, Indigenous Trust Team at CIBC. Since joining CIBC in 2019, she has brought more than 12 years of experience serving Indigenous Trusts, with a strong commitment to helping communities build sustainable funding structures that support self-determined priorities for current and future generations. A Member of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Meghan brings deep respect for the importance of history, language, and culture in shaping each community’s goals and vision for the future. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge, learning directly from communities, and developing tailored trust solutions as shaped by the community. She is known for her hands-on approach, long-term relationships, and belief that true wealth includes not only financial strength, but also the health and wellness of a community and its members.
